I'm Devi, owner of Pretty Painter. My goal is to bring comfort to your home through a colourful but traditional aesthetic. For over 10 years, I have had the pleasure of collaborating with clients to help bring their visions to life. I love seeing the look of satisfaction on a clients face when our job is complete. Early in my painting career I found my love for colour which lead me to my design principles: paint is the most accessible change you can make. Colour is the most impactful element. Let me help make your house a home.
2024 Trends
This year, I love rooms that are not afraid to show some personality! The typical neutral colour pallete of white and warm gray has expanded to accept more earthy tones. As accent colours, I am using a range of terracotta and shades of sage green, even mixing in round playful shapes (think 70’s wall design) in bright warm colours. For the rooms this year that call for a sense of calm I am finding inspiration in the Japandi style. It mixes the simplicity of Scandinavian design with the functionality of Japanese design and evokes a sense of the timeless “quiet luxury” style.
